LET'S MAKE IT WORK
JANUARY 31 | 2024 | Bucharest -ROMANIA
Since the war in Ukraine began more and more countries have understood that the next major war will be a cyber war.
With the highest number of IT employees per capita in Europe and the recent establishment of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), Bucharest quietly become the cybersecurity capital of Eastern Europe in the last few years.
“Romania is extremely interested in identifying projects in the field of cyber security and their development” Said Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu recently, claiming that “Romania has one of the most advanced legislation in the field of cyber security in Europe”.
The Prime Minister also recalled that Romania benefits from its status as a member of the European Union and NATO as well as OECD in the near future, thus offering a predictable business environment. The skyrocketing demand for Cybersecurity solutions might be also due to the fact that “Romania recorded a spectacular rise in the number of cyberattacks aimed at its infrastructure shortly after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine” the country’s chief national cybersecurity official told POLITICO last year.
